About the Carts

Each of our food carts is individually owned by the vendors, and each presents a different style of ethnic or regional food. All of our carts are licensed by the Washtenaw County Health Department, and prepare their food in an adjacent commercial kitchen, also inspected and licensed by the County Health Department.


Interested In Your Own Cart?

Mark's Carts is currently seeking proposals for food carts for the 2014 season. If you have a unique food cart idea, we want to hear from you. Please download and examine the Application and sample License Agreement linked below, and submit the Application in person at: Downtown Home & Garden, 210 S. Ashley, Ann Arbor. The terms of the 2014 License Agreement are not yet finalized, but the 2013 Agreement contained in the application packet should give you a general idea.
